About The Farm

We are a third-generation farm, led by brothers Farmer Lee Jones and Bob Jones, dedicated to growing exceptional vegetables that are more flavorful, nutrient-dense, and visually appealing than ordinary produce. We offer a wide variety of specialty and unique vegetables, herbs, microgreens, and edible flowers, all grown to the highest standards.

For us, there’s nothing more special than doing all this alongside our family. Both family that’s given and family that’s made, in a small town in Ohio that we love to call home. At the core of who we are, we’re finding new and different ways — innovative ways — to apply new-world technology to an old-world philosophy of farming.

Over the past 40 years, our goal has always been to practice world-class agriculture and to grow vegetables that are healthy for both you and the environment.

Regenerative Agriculture methods work to restore our soil and increase the rich biodiversity and nutrient density essential for plant and human health. Farming regeneratively helps sequester atmospheric carbon, reducing damage to our planet. This interconnected relationship between soil, plants, and people paves the way for a brighter and more sustainable future.

Meet The Jones Family

The Chef’s Garden is a three-generation family operation rooted in the vision and philosophy of our patriarch, Bob Jones Sr. Brothers Bob and Lee have continued to nurture and expand their father’s legacy.

Today, The Chef’s Garden team has grown to nearly 200 employees from small towns in Ohio and around the globe, yet it remains a family-owned operation.

The team includes three members of the second generation and six from the third generation of the Jones family, with even the youngest fourth generation making appearances as they grow.
