Edible leaves add color, texture, flavor, and nutrients to any plate and are high in fiber – and the Chef’s Garden chooses the most tender, flavorful, and aromatic edible leaves to offer our chefs. As just some examples, our tasty beet leaves are sweet and rich, hearty and earthy, while our citrus lace marigold leaves provide tangy bursts of flavor. The Japanese herb Kinome has a minty aroma and flavor with lingering heat, while the flavor of nasturtium leaves ranges from sour to very spicy and from peppery to honey-sweet, all with a crisp texture.
