These are a perfect accompaniment to our Flowerhouse Teas. To brew fresh herbal tea, heat water to between 160-180 degrees Fahrenheit, then pour over roughly chopped fresh herbs (we recommend starting with about 1 tbsp chopped, then adjusting to your taste). Add a lid if possible to keep the essential oils from the herbs in the brewing vessel. Allow to steep for 5-10 minutes depending on the desired strength. Strain, then enjoy. These herbs also make beautiful cold infusions, roughly chop herbs, then add to room temperature filtered water. Cover. Allow to steep for 12-24 hours, then strain. Cold infusing herbs into water pulls out fewer tannins from the herbs and creates a beautiful, smooth, refreshing tea perfect for a warm summer day. Sweeten with a taste of honey.
