Lettuce Chef Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 head Butter or Boston lettuce
  • 1 large tomato cut in wedges
  • 2 slices of ham, slivered
  • 2 slices turkey, slivered
  • 2 slices of Swiss cheese, slivered
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 small red sweet pepper, sliced thin
  • Chopped chives for garnish
  • Ranch dressing( recipe in Condiments & Preserves)

Steps

  1. Rinse, shake and chop lettuce.
  2. Plate up lettuce evenly on 4 plates.
  3. Layer on rest of ingredients, arranging nicely.
  4. Spoon on dressing, garnish with chives.
  5. Sprinkle on salt & pepper, if desired.
  6. Serve with crusty rolls.
