Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1 apple, peeled and chopped fine
- 6 oz. crab & tsp lemon juice
- 1 ½ tsp. Cajun seasoning
- dash of paprika
- salt & pepper
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 pastry recipe for 1 pie crust
- 2 tbsp. melted butter to drizzle
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375 deg.
- Melt butter in med skillet on med heat.
- Sauté apple & onion in butter till onion is translucent and soft.
- Add crab & seasonings and cook to heat.
- Add heavy cream & mix well, remove from heat.
- Roll out pastry to ¼ inch thick. Cut out biscuit size discs and press into muffin tin or ramekins in shape of a tart.
- Fill with spoonful of crab mixture.
- Drizzle with butter over top of tarts.
- Bake for 15-20 min. until golden brown.
Serves: 12-14 tarts
