Growing Organic Sage is fairly easy.

Sages include evergreen and deciduous shrubs, perennials, & biennials. Some are grown as annuals in cold climates. Salvia is the largest genus of the mint family. Hundreds of varieties include mostly ornamentals. Culinary types are our focus.

Sage makes a beautiful border plant in the flower bed and have pest repellent properties that can help protect even neighboring plants.

In the Kitchen

Chefs have used common sage for flavoring breads, stuffing’s, sausage, cheeses, and as a dry rub on pork roasts and poultry. Pineapple Sage is the new kid on the block and imparts a pineapple scent and flavor to any dish or drinks with a tropical flair, mango smoothies with pineapple sage are very refreshing!
